The National HIV and AIDS Response.
The Government of Uganda through the Uganda AIDS Commission (UAC), together with partners, organized the 13th Annual Joint AIDS Review (JAR) and the 11th Partnership Forum (PF). The Conference ran from 26th – 27th August, 2020 under the Theme: ‘’Ending AIDS; Leaving no one behind’’. The event was organized to provide a platform for stakeholders to take stock of 2019/2020 performance for the national HIV Response and agree on key undertakings for 2020/2021
Participants were drawn from all constituencies of the HIV/AIDS Partnership at both national and sub national levels.
There were break away sessions to discuss topical issues on the response; and the different stakeholders showcased their respective contributions towards the response for the period under review. The event was convened virtually, in line with the Government Standard Operating Procedures for COVID-19 pandemic.
