International community of Women living with HIV Eastern Africa( ICWEA), Advocates for the prevention of HIV in Africa (APHA) and Emthonjeni and other Global organisations share their concern at a possible future without the Ring as an Option for African women and women of African descent
We support the International Partnership for Microbicides (IPM), in their withdrawal of the ring from FDA. Our focus is to ensure that the Ring becomes available to the women and girls that participated in the study and all those who have worked tirelessly to get to this stage.
